The JM Flex Width Controle GoLive Action will allow you to make a layer with flexible width, and with a maximum and minimum size. Without the normal troubles and bugs as with many other solutions like the CSS width:expression solution.

IE5.1mac will normaly on resize, use the old size of the layer/window and will first use the new size the next time you resize the window. To take care of this bug IE5.1mac will instead of resizing, reload the page. (from the browser cache).
